With a swift, precise motion, Caleb grabbed a clear plastic cup and brought it down over the tiny insect.
Craig made another involuntary chrip as the cloudy plastic enclosure came down around him with a loud CLACK. Had his brother been off by just a little bit, one of the walls could have easily crushed him.
"Gotcha!" Caleb chimed victoriously as he lowered his head to get a better look at his capture.
"Wow, you're a tiny little guy huh?..." The boy whispered as he inspected the green insect through the dingy plastic. The boy's booming words were utterly humiliating.
"NO!! CALEB! PLEASE IT'S ME!! IT'S CRAIG!!" The cricket pleaded hopelessly to his oblivious captor.
Craig found himself unprepared as Caleb began to drag the plastic cup towards the edge of the desk. The altered teen could do nothing but follow along with the cup's pace as it headed to the edge. Waiting eagerly off the edge of the desk was Caleb's outstretched palm. Craig scurried along with surreal terror as he stepped on to the soft fleshy surface of his little brother's hand.
"There we go~" Caleb giggled. The feeling of the bug's tiny legs was ticklish as it traveled onto his hand.
Upon finally reaching center of the tween's palm, the plastic cup abruptly flipped over, causing the helpless green 'cricket' to fall into the up right cup.
Humiliated, Craig looked up at the towering walls around him, up towards the looming face of his kid brother staring down at him in amusement.
