Forest Dweller

You wake up in a forest. Your immediate thought is that you were captured- but you dismiss it as there are no kidnappers nearby. Looking to the left, you see... the ocean? Ayla is walking towards it. Her silhouette is hazy, and as you turn to look back at the forest, you see only sand and water. It is raining, the sky is dark and cloudy. You were taught at a young age to know when you were dreaming, so you quickly go over the steps. Nothing makes sense so far, so that's one count towards dreaming. You decide to go to the final step, seeing if you can feel pain. You pinch yourself, but feel nothing. You're dreaming, alright. You force yourself to close your eyes, then open them to see Ayla sleeping in the bed. Or... that's what you expect to see. Instead, you only see the stormy ocean. What's going on? You've never failed to awaken from a dream before. Unless... this isn't a dream! Elos could have tapped into your mind, meaning if you aren't careful, you could end up with your entire being shattered. Ayla... you turn back over to see her walking towards the roaring waves, almost as if she were sleep walking. Could Elos have tapped into Ayla's mind as well? No, you've been taught that mind transfer can only be between two people. Then again, if Elos is extremely powerful, perhaps he would be able to surpass those laws.
There's no way of telling. You know the sea must be Elos. He could easily be pulling Ayla's mind towards him. Holding two minds at once, however... no matter how powerful he is, there's no way he could see both of you. He's most likely just trying to get both of you to go towards him. When he senses you or her, he'll strike.
The other possibility is that it's only you in this place- and he's using Ayla as a lure. If you attempt to stop her, you could easily end up losing yourself.
There's no more time to think! The thing that looks like Ayla is almost at the water!
