Another Monday Morning
"Excuse me one moment," you say. "I'll be RIGHT back."
You close the door, grab the iguana you killed an hour ago, and sneak out the back door.
You walk up to the picket fence separating your yard from your neighbor's yard. You toss the iguana into your neighbor's yard. It lands right on the walkway leading from the sidewalk to his porch.
You sneak back into your house, return to the front door, and Johnny is still there.
"Sorry, I really had to go to the bathroom," you say. Johnny buys your excuse.
"Anyway, I thought I saw something that looked like an iguana at the neighbor's house about an hour ago. Strange, my neighbor was really screaming at it, like he was mad because it was there."
Johnny thanks you and heads for your neighbor's house. You walk out as if to get your mail, because you don't want to miss the reaction of your neighbor when he is accused of killing Johnny's iguana.
As you expected, words are exchanged. You are surprised that Johnny's vocabulary is already that colorful. The neighbor tries to deny killing the iguana, but half an hour later, the cops are hauling him away for cruelty to an animal.
Oh well, you never really liked that guy anyway.
An hour later, you get a call from your best friend Jack. He wants to know if you want to cruise town with him and go to the nightclubs.
