Hall of Infinite Doors

You manage to get your elbow into the right lever position and pull open the handle to the sliding door. Your jumble the kid into your car, and close the sliding door behind you. A simple click and you have the door locked. You jump into your drivers seat and don't bother watching the father. You pull away from the parking area, and drive down a parallel street to make your escape. But there is an obstacle. A red light is present. In one direction, you can see no cars are coming. In the other, a building gives you a blind spot. You can see a sports car moving behind you.
