The demon scam
You stay back for now, thinking it would be wise to not engage the battle. Anyway, the creature seems to be able to handle itself pretty well.
Now you see that it actually isn't an 'it' at all, but a young female cat-demon with long black hair and fuzzy ears and a tail that whips about as the easily fights off the hyenas.
Soon enough, she has killed most of them, and the rest takes off, whimpering. The cat-demon straightens up and licks off the blood from her claws with a little smirk, her yellow eyes falling upon you.
