For the next few days you sneak around through the high class area making a note of the patrol routines and peering into windows determining which house has the easiest access. When you think you're ready, you make your move. You pick a house that seems to be only inhabited by one noble. No family, no wife, and from what you can tell the guy doesn't even have company often. Should be easy.

Waiting for night, and the city guard to pass by, you run to the house, pick the lock of the front door and begin sneaking around.
