You make your way to the city graveyard, which lies at the edge of one of city walls. Its still daylight, so you're at least confident nothing's going to be lurking around topside, so you take this opportunity to look for Gray Blossom above ground before you go delving into the catacombs. After inspecting many gravestones, a disheveled man comes up to you with a shovel.
"Ay now! What're you doin'? I spend a long time cleaning those headstones and here you are getting them all dirty with your filthy hands!" he says.
"You're joking! You actually clean the headstones? What for?"
"Because I'm the bloody caretaker you idiot! That's what I'm supposed to do, upkeep the graveyard! Now why the hell, are you patting down the things like they were some cheap harlotÂ…wait you're not one of THOSE are you? Cause I've had enough of catching sick bastÂ…"
"What?! NO! I'm looking for grave moss. Gray Blossom to be exact."
"Oh, you must be working for Raltec. He sent someone else over here just last week, damn fool went down into the catacombs and got himself killed. Had to beat him to death with my shovel when he came back hungry for living flesh."
"Obviously there's an undead problem here, why doesn't the city take care of it?"
"How should I know? Not enough money in the budget? As long as they stay in the graveyard, it's not high on the agenda. The thieves' ring is more of a problem, so they just put me here to keep an eye on the place and make sure it's locked tighter than a chastity belt at night."
"So can I go down into the catacombs?"
"Be my guest, it's your funeral." The caretaker says and shakes his head.
You leave the caretaker to his duties and head to one of the crypts. Upon entering inside you find stairs leading deeper. As you descend, you hope to find the moss just growing on the floor, but no such luck, looks like you'll have to search. You half expect the skeletal bodies lying in the walls to reach out and grab you.
Eventually you come to a door which you hear sounds coming from the other side; you can open it or continue down the corridor.
