"You really think we should?" Vermont asks. "...We don't even know where the kid is."
"That's true, but you know who we can find out from." You respond.
"Sylvester." Merle responds from under his tree while peeling a pear, not even appearing to be listening to a the conversation.
Michael interjects. "We left Cuyahoga weeks ago. It was hard there. We're much better off where we are now. What's the point making the trip there and we don't even know for sure if he knows where the kid is?"
"Of course he knows. And once we make it there he'll give us some supplies for the trip and he may even put us up for a night or two."
Sylvester was once one of your party. He'd given up and surrendered to the police state when his little girl had fallen ill and needed medical attention while on the run. He now has a place in Cuyahoga where he's living out his normal every day life, but is closely monitored for any ties he may have with vagrants. People who are found harboring vagrants are dealt with harshly.
" I think it's worth it. Where the child is, there is hope. And it's said to be a safe haven for all who go there. Why would we pass up something like that?"
After a bit of deliberation you convince the rest of your group and decide to set out at night fall...
