The Ninja Epidemic
You enter the woods along the path which runs through it. Something is unsettling in these woods today. Maybe its just your own personal fear though.
You look around as you slow to a jog, trying to catch your breath while continuing to move. While looking you notice movement in the trees above you. Is it just birds? Or are the ninjas up there? This is not cool.
You stop running and look up at the shadows jumping from tree to tree. Definatley not birds, you realise. You swallow hard, sensing your own inevitable demise. One of the forms drops down to land beside you. Out of instinct you punch at it, connecting with a right jab. The startled ninja stumbles back in pain. Three shirukens land in your chest from above, tearing through your flesh with three burning, searing, sharp pains. You stumble back a bit, remove one of them from your chest and launch it at the ninja in front of you. The throwing star lands in his left eye. Lucky shot. The ninja falls dead. You start to run away but your limbs are heavy and moving sluggishly. The throwing stars were poisoned, you realize as you fall to the fround attempting to run from the ninja.
You lye on the ground twitching for a while before all of your muscles go stiff. Everything goes black.
