The Ninja Epidemic

You throw the remote control at him. It whizzes past his back and lands against the wall with a crack. You never were much good at throwing things. The ninja's head quickly looks in the direction from where the sound came. His back is to you as he walks slowly over to the remote control on the ground.

You have another opportunity to run here. You can go through the back door or the front. Or you could test your aim again and try launching the phone at him. Make your choice. Quickly now, he's a ninja.
