The Item
You make the two day trek to Fornost with the Item. Here you will save her from both Uthruc and Elam, your king, the man who sent you to destroy the Item in the first place. It probably wouldn't be a happy meeting if he saw the Item still in place.

About a month after you arrived in Fornost, Elam and his royal group come collecting taxes for the kingdom. They must have assumed you dead, a mission lost. But wait-when Elam gave you the order to destroy the Item, he said if you did not complete the mission in a month all would be killed by the Item. They must have gotten the information that you were hiding the Item in Fornost!
