The Black Citadel

You continue walking and after some time following the river course northeast, you notice that the river where you are now is quite shallow and that you could cross here by stepping across some visible stones. A narrow trail leads to this part of the river from the forest and it continues across on the other side. You begin crossing the river. Halfway across you see something shining in the water.
