Oct 8, 2006 | Great story. Mana is sort of hard to understand and could use a bit more detail. Other than that, it's really well done.

Dec 30, 2005 | True, true. A lot of work did go into this story. And better yet-- it's finished. I gave it an 8 though because it lacks good detail and (call me picky) it didn't seem... proffesional. For stories of this kind, I like to see pictures in every room... maybe even music sometimes. And I know that dude in the hut was inspired by Hagrid from Harry Potter. Lmao, very good story though. |

Dec 10, 2005 | Wow. You put a lot of work into this story and it shows. Excellent read. I don't do the dice books, so I just cheated on those parts, but the storylne itself was exciting. Throughout the story there was a definate sense of adventure. This is a well diserved ten for you, Funky. Great job.

Dec 2, 2005 | Well, dont rate yourself...but this must've taken so much work. You get a 10.

Dec 1, 2005 | Not even my style of story. It gets a 10 because of the work involved, and also for the fact that it's well-written.

Apr 25, 2005 | It's detailed, it's well thought out, and it's fun to play. Good job. This site could use more stories like this.

Apr 18, 2005 | I WAS going to give this a 9 because of your excellent writing on the story, but good night Almighty, you gave YOURSELF a 10?!? That's dirty pool, my friend. (Not to mention I've tried it before and it didn't work, so I'm just a tad jealous.) Keep up the good work, though! |

Jan 18, 2005 | Great story! I like the many obstacles and fights, the dice rolls and the equipment list. Maybe the character lacks some personality (we don't get to know what he thinks/feels/likes/dislikes/etc), but otherwise this is a fun CYOA-story and I can't wait for it to be 'finished'! p.s. did you rate your own story? :P |

Dec 15, 2004 | At last! This story reminds me of the "Golden Dragon Series" from the mid 80s, a classic. Everyone would do themselves a favor by reading your story, and see some of the greater potentional of the CYOA Website. I'll look forward to reading more of your stories! |
