Everything Went Dark

Choosing a random direction, Jack started to run again. His legs screamed at him to stop moving and lay down in the grass, but he ignored the feeling. He had to move. After little breaks, and what seemed like hours, he came across a barbed-wire fence with a bunch of 'Go away', 'Dangerous', 'Illegal Territory', 'Do Not Cross' signs. Jack had a feeling he was close to the Neutral Grounds. Hoping that it would be worth the pain, Jack started to climb the fence. Before he got to the barbed wire, he paused. This was going to hurt. Like a lot. He braced himself for the pain and got a little closer to the barbed wire. He hoisted his leg over and pushed himself up and over. The left side of his body was scratched horribly. He tumbled to the ground, trying not to make noise in case someone was nearby. It hurt SO much more than he expected it to. Ow.
