The siege against humanity

You decide to turn to channel 4 the cartoon channel, you always watch it when you have flashbacks, your in the middle of your favorite program when the T.V. starts going into static, you know something is wrong so you turn around and turn on the radio, you tune to channel 128.36, the only running radio station, sure enough the news is on, you listen closely, "attention everybody, tonight at 10 there will be a second attack, everybody is needed to either help with the volunteering or help fight, we meet at the lagoon at 7 O`clock, we need all the help we can get". You get ready but can't decide what to do.
