The siege against humanity

You decide that the war is going to be brutal and you don't want to be where all the action is, your going as a volunteer. Your ready to go and help, you have all the supplies needed so you set off through the thick of the forest behind your house. When you arrive your put into a group with 4 other people, your task is to make sure that the front-lines have enough ammunition to keep the machines at bay, that means making trips to and from the battle field, its a dangerous job, but someone has to take the risk. You and the other 4 are geared up and put into a buggy together, your sitting in the back with another man, both of you are holding onto the ammunition, the other 2 are females and they are in the front seats driving, and shooting. The front-lines start moving forwards, you hang back and wait until a squadron calls for ammo, you hear the first gunshots, the war is now active. About 13 minutes later you get 2 calls at once, one is pinned down in a bunker, the other is rushing towards a sniping tower, you only have enough ammo and time for one, you can come back later and respond to the other if they are still alive.
