The siege against humanity

You step outside, take a breath of fresh air and look out towards the horizon, you manage to see were the ground turns to sky, but fire and destruction covers the view quickly. Walking back inside you sigh, thinking about the year the comet hit, the year the world went into chaos 2074, June, 4th. It had been 14 years since we took refuge in the bunkers, we had only gotten out 3 years ago and took the first sight of what a wasteland earth now is.
