The Paradox Factor
Jill laughs again as Rocky the rat walks across the room and into the simulated Shrodinger Box. Rocky digs through the little bag inside and pulls out a blue thread and then looks up expectantly.
Jill gives Rocky a small piece of ground beef as a reward and smiles up at you.
"You know, that's not good for the rat.", says Terry, the biologist on the team.
"Hey, it works and that's what we're after. Rocky will know what to do with the suggestion what he is asked to perform it.", replies Scott as he programs the computer to deliver the suggestion.
"When should Rocky do his trick?", asks Bill, looking at the real Shrodinger Box next to the caged rat.
"How about last night? Nobody was here and he had access to the box.", you reply.
Scott smiles at the idea and says, "Done".
Jill looks up and then over at the real Shrodinger Box.
"Is the blue thread pulled?", she asks.
Scott, Terry, Bill and yourself smile at her; all five of you itching with curiousity.
Your head throbs and you rub your temples.
