Another Monday Morning

You run like the wind toward the outcropping of trees on the far side of the property.

Soon you realize you have outrun your pursuers and that you are in a dark jungle.

Immediately you become aware of a dozen unseen eyes boring into you. You hear a low growl, then a rustle in a bush.

With a gulp, you continue moving, but slower. You have outrun your attackers for the time being, and your instincts tell you to move with caution, not haste.

You reach a small cave near the sea. Crouching down, you investigate, but can't see anything in the darkness. It might be a good place to hide from your pursuers, but on the other hand, something worse might be waiting inside.
