Time Traveller
You quickly shove your way past Mike, and walk towards the door. The commotion has caused the patrons of the saloon to fall silent, and your shoes echo loudly. Mike, the woman, and everyone else stare at you as you push open the saloon doors and step outside.
"Hey, ya coward!" Mike's voice calls after you, "Get back in here!"
Ignoring him, you continue walking, into the street, and in the direction of the time machine. Suddenly, the saloon doors swing open, and Mike walks out into the street, followed by some of the other men. The woman is nowhere to be seen.
"Where ya going, stranger?" Mike says, behind you. His spurs jingle as he walks, and you turn around, terrified. You're unarmed, but you can see that Six-Gun Mike has his namesake clearly visible in a holster. His hand is only inches from it. "What's your hurry?" he says.
You don't say anything, and he draws the gun, slowly, almost mockingly and aims it at you.
"Perhaps you're a criminal on the run, in need of shooting," Mike says, grinning nastily. There is the sound of metal scraping against leather as the men behind Mike draw their guns also.
You must do something quickly, but what?
