Cartonia

There are hints that there may be many different races in the game. The land the 2 main species lives on is diamond shaped with a great fog obscuring areas a short distance off shore. Rumor has it that once one race is defeated other islands or continents will open up offering more races to choose from and new areas to explore. For now there is only the human race and the Wooken.

While the human race may sound like a boring and predictable choice there a few twists there as well. They consist of different factions based on what they have been trained nearly from birth to do. In this world one must level up, their creator gave them a system of attributes and points to help them with this. A soldier must begin from childhood to be proficient by adulthood and their bodies are shaped by their actions. Thus tanks are squat and powerful, warriors are slim and muscular, wizards are trim and the magic effects them most of all in their bodies formation. They often have pointed ears, different colored skin, strange crystalline and colored eyes and nails. Likewise dark magic, that typically associated with the use of death as a catalyst, twists the body into grotesque and misshapen forms. Villagers who become skilled workers resemble humans from the earlthy realm closest.

For those coming into Cartonia from the earthly realm there is a great deal of choice in the matter of body shape based on ones choosen profession. There is also a great deal of intermixing of traits based on cross specializing and further unique choices based on specialization in one of the three primary overall categories.

For the most part the human society seen here is very egalitarian. Women are seen in all aspects of work and specialization and skin color is not seen as an issue. Religion is practically unheard of. All know they have a creator but few believe he wishes to be worshiped and fewer still ascribe a beliefs system to him. Stratification of class and financial status still exists but is far from oppressive. Although the worlds human population almost 1,000 years sense it’s near destruction that possibility still looms high in every ones mind limiting class and wealth struggles.
