Just an Ordinary Day in the Life of an Ordinary Girl

"Are you kidding? You are supposed to know that by now. Haven't they told you of my coming?" The guy seems genuinely surprised.
"Uhhh.....no." Oh god, this whole thing is beginning to sound serious and beginning to stop making sense as well.

"I'll explain while we drive to The Place."
"Do you know how to get there?" you ask while raising an eye brow in puzzlement. Hah! An adventure! Or a dangerous lunatic..., you can't help but think.
"You don't know that either!? I thought you were on your way now!?"
Well, now that you think about it....
"To be totally honest...," you say, and suddenly a creepy feeling takes over. "I can't remember where I...am going. I-I don't know why I left home." You lean back in your chair. You try to keep calm and concentrate but it's not working.

The strange young man now opens the door on the other side of the car and takes the passenger seat. Clearly ready for take-off. You stare at him, confused. Is he telling the truth then?

"Just start driving, I'll give you directions and explain on the way..."
