The Island of Destiny
You walk across the rope bridge, followed by Robert, Eddie, Jack, and Xavier. You step onto the cliff face and proceed down the ladder constructed on the cliff's side. You are impressed by the sturdiness of the metal bars. You step onto the metal bridge, an amazingly long bridge that extends over the sea to another island. You would judge it's about a quarter of a mile away.
"You guys all sure about this?" asks Eddie, who holds his rifle nervously in his hands. You look and Robert and he nods to press on. You all agree and you continue on across the bridge.
The bridge is glass and walking across it is quite an experience. You feel like you're practically hovering over the ocean and you find looking down for extended periods of time to have a dizzying effect. As you start to approach the new island, you notice that there is a dome-like structure on the island. At first you think it's just a cloud but as you get nearer you see that it is silver and metallic.
You finally step foot onto familiar sand and the five of you take a breath.
"So what's the game plan here?" asks Jack. "What if we run into some people?"
"Well I'm sure they won't have a problem with us hunting," says Robert. "But at the very least, we will perhaps discover a way to leave this island."
You hike up the sandy dunes to the jungle and find that there is a dirt path emblazoned through the foliage. You find this proof of human existence comforting and at the same time disquieting. Just who will you find here?
Eventually the path in the jungle comes to a crossroads. There is no sign but to the right leads to a darker forest with a purplish light glowing much further into it. To the left leads to a field along the coast, where you can get a better view of that silver dome.
