Pandemic

Instinctively, you shut your eyes, waiting for the final blast that would end your life forever. However, a sudden bang from the front of the building startles you and the man, making him drop his weapon. "Freeze!" says a voice.
Suddenly, the light turns on, temporarily blinding you. When your eyes adjust, you see a police officer handcuffing your attacker. Another one is walking towards you, handcuffs in hand.
