The sheer mental trauma of your boss being friendly to you causes something to set off in your brain. That something eventually leads to all of your brain cells shutting down, only to burst out of your skull, spraying your boss and the surrounding area in blood and brain. Your boss, very collected considering the situation, calls to a nearby janitor "We've got another head exploder here!".
