Trapped!

You wait for eight seconds and shoot. You hit an explosive and it implodes, blowing up the platform. You grit your teeth as you watch the explosion devour the cage. You did it right! You hear the dog whimper as it dies. You wait for the flames to die down and run towards the cage. As the man had promised, there was a door. You walk through it and scream in horror. Ahead of you is a giant snake, its eyes fixed on you. You hear your tormentor's voice. "This is my pet, Striker. He is the largest king cobra on the planet. He hasn't been fed in days. However, if you can find the corpse of his favorite prey, the Mongolian Mongrel, he will spare you long enough to escape. You must be quick, however, because he is not held back. I have an ultrasonic signal right now that forces him to pause. However, when I turn it off, he will be fully aware and will try to kill you. I will give you a three second headstart."
You quickly look around. There is a chest of drawers, a dresser, and a sink with cabinets.
