Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red
You decide to pick up the Thunderstone for Pikachu, but obviously he doesn't get the hint.
Pikachu: "Hey, why didn't you get the Huge Apple? At least we could have used that. What the fuck are we going to need a Thunderstone for?"
Charmander: "I dunno. I just thought it might be useful..."
Donphan: "A razor is more useful than a rock..."
Charmander & Pikachu: "Shut up!"
Donphan: "Jeez! Sorry my daughter just got kidnapped and I'm a little depressed..."
Charmander: "I'm sorry Donphan. That was rude of me. So what does your daughter look like anyways?"
Donphan: "Well, she was the cutest little Phanpy you've ever seen. Whenever she was excited, she would do this thing where she would lift her trunk up and wave it around. I miss her so much..."
Pikachu: "It's ok Donphan. We'll find her soon."
And Team Um continued on. After another grueling 24 floors, you make it to 98F. When you go up the stairs, you are weak from just fighting a Monster House (Charmander- 36/100 Pikachu- 24/105 Donphan- 18/75). As you walk around looking for Phanpy, you notice that there are no Pokemon on this floor. You then get that strange tingling feeling that you had when you were getting the note. Suddenly, you hear smething that sounds like whispering. Now you're really freaked out, but you put on a brave face for Pikachu and Donphan. The whispering grows louder until it becomes a voice. You stop in a large room, and listen.
???: "Charmander! Pikachu! Donphan! What dare brings you to the Shady Tree?!? May you be looking...for this?"
Before your eyes, Phanpy appears. She appears to whimpering. Excited, you step out to get her, when the voice cries out.
???: "Don't dare take another step, if you value your life. Besides, this is merely an apparation of her. If you want her, you must FIGHT ME!!!"
A flash of light blinds you, and the screams of tortured Pokemon fill you're ears. An Earthquake starts, and you struggle to stay afoot. Pikachu falls over, and you lean down to help him up. Somewhere around you, you hear Donphan scream. In the confusion of everything going on around you, you look up and see a GIANT...
