Dropped
[Author's Note: Thank you for giving this a chance! I had a lot of fun making it, I hope you have as much fun going through it! It's a little unrealistic at times, but I tried my be to make those parts believable, so it's not very noticeable. There are multiple paths, and multiple endings. Not one ending was used twice! This is the first story of it's type I've written, so comments would be GREATLY appreciated!]
=-=-=-=-=
Freezing cold. Constant turbulence. Uncomfortable seats. And silence.
You hear some faint explosions and some talking, but the only thing you can focus on is the floor and the sound of the engines. You just tune out everything else.
You stare at the floor with an unbreakable gaze, as if looking away would kill you. You can't believe that all those explosions are coming from just outside of the plane. Not even a mile away, people are dying. Plummeting to their death.
And you might be next. Any of those hundreds of tracers flashing by your plane could easily take it down.
Why did you even join the damn army? It seemed like a patriotic thing to do, but why? You just left high school, you should be out with friends, and-
Everyone is standing up. So you stand up without even thinking about it, as if you werent in control of your body.
This is it. The red light is your focus now. As soon as the light changes green, you have to jump out of a plane thousands of miles above the ground.
Why did this seem like a good idea?
Green!
You can almost feel the energy of the plane surge up. Everyone rushes out of the plane, and in two seconds, it's your turn to jump.
