Worlds Apart

You lean over and lightly touch Sky's shoulder. She's instantly awake, her gun aimed at you. Then, she frowns and lowers it again. She opens her mouth to speak and then pauses with her head on one side, listening, apparently having heard the sound as well. She looks at you and leans in close. "I'll go and check the sound out. You stay here and guard the camp," she says in a low voice.
