Worlds Apart
Sky eyes you with her head on one side, clearly thinking about it. You can see the play of emotions across her face - the hesitance; the question of whether or not she can really trust you. You don't say anything to persuade or dissuade her and, finally, she inclines her head in a nod. "I suppose we might be seeing a lot of each other while you're here, so long as neither of us get killed. Wake me halfway through the night." She removes her backpack and opens it, spreading a blanket out on the ground which she curls up on and quickly falls asleep.
You tilt your head back to look up at the sky, noticing just how quickly night has fallen. This is unlike your own creator's home planet of Carolon. There, true night only lasts a few hours. Perhaps that explains the attitude your creator used to have...
It's fortunate that you have nearly perfect eyesight in the dark. Here on this planet, you will have to utilise all of your skills. After all, you are not invincible. And if harmed, you won't heal in the same way as a human would.
A rustling from the bushes draws your attention. It seems there's something close by. A scavenger, perhaps. A glance towards Sky reveals that she is asleep.
