A quick search through Sky's supplies reveals a laser sword and a blaster. (Taking either of these will +1 to your skill roll during a fight). You then move off towards the bushes.
As soon as you get close enough, an animal leaps out from the bushes. It looks like a normal wolf, if you discount the glowing red eyes and the blood dripping from its slavering jaws.
