You decided not to leave. You told your mom and friends, they were really happy. Over the years you lived your life. You got a job to help your mother. You managed to balance work and family and friends. Everything is going well. But at your 21st birthday everything changed.
The Empire, not having much choices of planets to conquer, invaded Tatooine. It was an easy victory for them. There was barely to no defense. They picked what the men and women do. Some were picked to be slaves, the rest were forced to join the Imperial Military, you got the latter.
Just before you got on a transport off the planet you said goodbye to your mom and friends. After the goodbyes you boarded. You looked out a window to see your planet one last time before the ship jumped to hyperspace.
