World Domination

You give Kylie a pay rise, and she begins to work harder than ever. But your competition, the Southern Courier also has a new star - a blonde named Helen Tonemeyer. Under her influence, your rival has introduced a daily gossip section which is creating huge interest. You have been thinking about ways to counteract this bold marketing approach, when Kylie approaches you one afternoon.

"Mr Merlock, may I have a word with you?" You invite her into your office, and she closes the door quietly behind her.

"This new girl Helen Tonemeyer ... I went to school with her ..." she pauses, perhaps to gauge your reaction. You gesture for her to go on.

"She was always extremely hot-headed actually. Very obsessed about her appearance. I think I know the perfect way to get under her skin". A mischievous smile creeps out from under her lips. She sees you are impressed.

"School friends eh? One of those all girl schools was it?" you ask. She nods.

"Frightening places those must be. I never intend to set foot in one," you smile, "So just what is it you have in mind?"

She sits down.

"Helena's a celebrity now. She's fair game. All we need is a picture of her looking absolutely atrocious, and we can print a full page article on her. It doesn't have to be good. It just has to make her look ordinary." She smiles a little wider now.

It sounds promising, but you're not sure you whether should risk defiling your own image.
