The Galactic Adventures of Pierce Darkblade
You tell weapons officer Denzen to unleash a laser barrage at the small being. He complies and the Pachyderm fires rapid shot laser blasts, about 250 within 4 seconds all directly hitting the small black creature.
The creature is now glowling neon green, as he seemingly absorbs every laser blast. He begins to raise his four arms slowly, aiming them at the bridge of the Pachyderm, right at you it seems.
"Mr. Denzen, reflector laser sheilds online please, all power to the bridge of the ship."
"Reflector shields online, concentrating power on the bridge."
The small black creature unleashes the absorbed power of the laser blasts into a massive green beam, spouting from his hands. It comes right at the bridge of the ship. The beam hits the bridge but does no damage as the reflector shields bounce the beam right back at the alien being. You can almost see the shock on his face as the super-charged beam comes flying back, hitting him directly, the concussive force sending him spiraling into space.
"Mr. Denzen, target the creature with our giga missiles. Maximum charge."
The stunned being gets enough composure to steady himself and see a giga missile flying right at him. It detonates in a massive explosion. When the blast clears you see no visible trace of the alien.
"Where did it go?" Mason asks
"The giga missile must of obliterated it." Fraglon replies.
"Possible..." You state. "But this creature has already done some pretty odd things. If it is destroyed, I want proof of its destruction. At the very least it will give the Freevians closure on the matter."
Fraglon nods in agreement.
Suddenly, a strange distortion appears on the bridge about 6 feet away from your chair. It is a swirling mass of green and black particles phasing in front of your very eyes. Lt. Mason jumps out of his chair and draws his laser pistol. Fraglon and Denzen do the same, while the rest of the bridge crew stand and back towards the walls, fear stricken as a more fleshed out apparition comes into focus.
Your eyes grow wide but you retain your composure as the apparition phases fully into the room. It's the strange alien creature. He has just teleported onto your ship. Even worse, he's no worse for wear from your attacks.
