The neverending story

He stands there, muted by your words. The eerie uncomfortable silence lasts for a long time.

You wait.

And wait.

And wait.

And wait.

You're starting to become rather impatient. It's been, literally 15 minutes since you'd told him what you've done. Yet, with his pale illuminating eyes, he stands there, those eyes wide, concentrating on you, for a whole fifteen minutes, no break. If he's so perfect, why does he make you feel so infuriated!?

After another five minutes, he finally breaks the awkward, irritating silence.

"You WHAT!!?" He yells, the earth shakes violently, you're almost sent off the tree, your hands gripping it a tight as you can. You suddenly feel a surge of terror, building up inside you.

"I..I.." You stutter.

"HOW DARE YOU! HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY DO THIS TO ME?!!"

When he was mad, he made everything sound so terrible. Like you'd planted a bomb in his garden, or lusted Eve's mother...wait. She doesn't have a mother..what the hell do you know about mothering anyway?! That fruit had awesomely given you the ability to know things you could never possibly think up of previously.

"Well...I was sorta..hungry, yah know?"

The acoustic guitars had also gone silent since you'd mentioned the consumption of the fruit. They continue to stare at you, as if you'd pissed in their kitchens.

"I told thou not to eat my fruit!"

"But..why?"

God quickly said, "It was a simple test, to see how tempted ye humans could possibly be. Since you have failed this one test, ye, and Eve, shalt leave this place and..umm..just go out and have sex and shit! You probably know what that is by now, just do as you wish without my help. Buh-Bye!"

There on, you leave the beautiful land of Eden and venture off into unknown wilderness.
