His mouth opens a little wider, and then closes again.
"You have until 3 o'clock to vacate your office." You gesture to him to leave the room, and head down to the angry media conglomeration below. You step outside, accompanied by two security guards, and are immediately bombarded with questions.
"Mr Merlock. Some players are viewing these salary cuts as greed on behalf of administrators. What do you have to say to this?"
"Mr Merlock. What good is there to come from instilling such resentment amongst the players?"
"Mr Merlock. What does the board intend to do with all these extra funds?"
