The End
"Well, well aren't you a brave one. I just wanted to see you, I heard how good you was, even as a child and I just had to see if it was true."
She walks towards you. "Come on, give me a sample".
"What?" you stammer, "what do you want from me?" She cocks her head to the side and looks at you through narrowed eyes. "Surely by now you know how to constrict...." she says while stepping towards you slowly.
She opens her arms as if ready to hug. "Come on, hit me with something, just hurry up hit me!"
You ball your fist and run towards her and hit her right underneath her left breast. It flutters majestically at the impact of your punch.
"What the hell was that?" she asks before breaking out into a throaty laugh.
You feel a flash of anger at being laughed at. She stops laughing and studies you for a moment. "You really don't know what you can do yet, do you?" She doesn't wait for an answer. She paces about a bit and starts muttering to herself. "By this age you should be able to mezz and constrict by now."
You back off, "I don't know what you're talking about." You insist, you suddenly remember your automaton servant Javier who is just a watch click away.
"Oh, I will simply kill whatever walks through that door." She states plainly, obviously reading your mind again. You resign yourself that there will be no escape or talking your way out of this. You swallow, "Then teach me how to do those things." You say slowly.
She jumps a little, "teach you? That would just be ridÂ…" she stops and looks away in deep thought.
She smiles again and you feel uncomfortable.
"I think that would be a fine idea actually, she snickers, come with me we don't have much time until sunrise."
"Wait." you stop, "are you a vampire?"
Once again she laughs at this. "A vampire? Please, nothing that weak deserves to live!"
She continues laughing while you pause in shock at the confirmation that things like vampires exist. "No, no, no." she purrs, I just have to get you back before your human parents wake, you do have school today, at least that was what you was thinking about when I got here."
You allow the words 'human parents' to sink in before you move towards her. She straightens up and turns towards the brightly illuminated window, "Open this." She commands and you oblige without any hesitation. She steps outside and instead of falling three thousand feet she turns to you and says; "come to me."
You stand on the window still, under the silent streaks of light from the sky trams above, the moon invisible behind dark clouds, you instinctively look down and feel everything you ate that night turn into ice inside your digestive tract. This is a dream your mind reasons, this can't be happening.
"No!" she says inside your head. "This is destiny!"
"Now", she says without moving her lip and staring deep into your eyes. "Step forward."
She walks towards you. "Come on, give me a sample".
