The Phone Call
You smile and nod. You walk in front of the boys, feeling safer. You hear a rough growl at your side. You turn to see a beast pounce, about to land on you. When a gunshot throws it back on the floor. You look at Hunter who's got the gun held at the beast. You give a faint smile.
"Thanks."
"What are friends for?"
You all make your way to the car and you start driving. As you drive, Hunter and James shoot at all the beasts trying to pounce on the car.
As you drive down the road, you see a load of human dead bodies. Who will clear this up when it ends? You think to yourself.
You manage to get home.
"How is this going to work, then?" James aks.
"Thanks."
