You decide to wait...besides, if you try to escape now, the men would know you're attempting to and just capture you again. You decide to lie low for a while and allow them to take you deeper into the desert.
Eventually, the sun begins to sink, and the slave drivers set camp, setting you down near the edge. You see a glint of silver nearby and realize a careless driver had left a knife on the ground.
