a day as someone else

You stand around nervously.

"Son? Is that you?" you father asks.

A nervous pause.

"Well don't take all day about it, son! Come on in!"

You bite your lip. It's getting harder to think. Was it really such a good idea coming in here? Your father finally walks out into the hall to see you. He shouts out.

"What the hell are you doing in our house!?"

You can't explain. You're too startled by him shouting. He never shouts. He's always so mellow. Your mother also runs out. She lets out a scream.

"Don't worry love, I'll handle this!" he yells, making a grab for you.
