The Island of Destiny
Going with Tyler to check out these footprints seems like an interesting way to spend your day. You tell Robert you won't be joining the crew for hunting today and he just shrugs, then heads off with the others. You and Tyler spend some time gathering supplies, food and camping gear just in case this expedition takes more than one day. Once you are both satisfied, you head out into the wilderness.
"So why did that Frank guy come out here to begin with?" you ask Tyler as the two of your trek through tall grass.
"I don't know," Tyler says, comtemplatively. "He was just gone one morning. But he left us a note saying he went this way into the jungle, out to catch some big game."
"And nobody ever saw him again?"
Tyler shrugs as he stops to wipe his brow and take a drink from his canteen. "He probably fell down a cliff or something. Who knows."
The two of you spend the whole day hiking until finally the sun starts to set. There is no trace of the footprints anymore. There actually hasn't been for a while but you trusted that Tyler was on to some sort of trail.
"We should probably start heading back," Tyler suggests and you agree.
But as the two of you turn around, you hear a voice from far away.
"Hey! Over here!" the voice calls.
"Wait..." Tyler says and listens "Is that, Frank?"
"Oooover here!" the voice calls again.
"I think it is! We have to go get him!" Tyler immediately turns around and starts to run towards the voice.
You meanwhile, find yourself having a bad feeling about this. Something just seems..a little eerie.
Should you follow Tyler?
