The Island of Destiny

As the room comes into focus, you see that you are in a small metal room, obviously underwater judging from the porthole. You are lying on a bed, covered in blankets and now that you are fully conscious, you spring from the bed in an instant. As you get to your feet, the door then opens and a man steps in.

He is a big, bulky guy with an enormous moustache and obnoxiously dark sunglasses. Although you cannot see his eyes, his position tells that he is staring right at you.

"How's it going kid?" he asks you. He then spits a wad of chew onto the floor in front of you as if expecting you to not be disturbed about this.

"Who the hell are you?" you ask him.

"Name's Montand and this is my boat. While I was out hunting in the jungle, I saw your dumb ass wading through a swamp and luckily I was able to shoot you with my restraining cords right before you walked into quickmud." He then adds "So maybe I'd like to hear 'Gee thanks Montand, for saving my life'?"

You are unsure how exactly to respond to this. You're still not entirely sure he's telling the truth. But as for now you decide to play along and mutter a "Uhm...thanks?"

"No problem," he remarks. He then reaches around behind his back and to your great surprise, he tosses you a 9mm carbine.

"Ready to go hunting then?"

You look at him in shock. "You can't be serious? Right now?"

"Yeah, right now. I came to this island for one reason and one reason only," he spits another wad "and that's to kill the woolman."

"The what?"

"I'm not gonna waste my time to try and explain it to you all right now. But I guess you can call it a...kind of beast. Real hairy, gruesome, you get the picture. When I kill it, I'll be one of the most famous hunters ever. If you help me, I'll let you in on a little slice of the fame. Sound good?"

You're still unsure about this offer. But as if sensing this, Montand then adds "And I'm pretty sure I'm the only way you can get off this island. I can take you back to...well, wherever the hell you came from."

Either way, you realize it would be foolish to just blow this guy off entirely. Plus, would he even let you? You decide not to cross that bridge yet and see what this hunting will entail for you.

"Alright, sounds good," you answer.

"Sweet. Now let's go eat a couple sandwiches and start the hunt. Where do you think we should start, jungle or beach?"

Now this is an interesting decision he's letting you make. You reason that if you start in the jungle the hunt will really be on. But if you choose the beach...well, perhaps there's a way you could just make an attempt to get back to Montand's boat. After all, from what you've seen this guy is kind of an asshole...
