I waited a few moments after Danny had kicked Gregory out of the restaurant until I left myself. Sure enough, the man was standing about a half-block away, smoking a cigar. Silently, I crept up to him, the violent episode replaying in my mind like a broken projector. These memories quickened my pace and kept me quiet. When I got about 5 feet away, I pulled back my fist and slammed it into the back of his head with all my strength. Gregory fell to the ground, apparently unconscious.
