You're probably right, staying put would be a pretty good idea. You have no idea where the heck you are. But it's a small creepy room and you're getting a little bored and curious. So you sit and wait.....
and wait......
and wait......
And right when you're about to just tear out that strange door looking for answers, the door opens. You blink a couple of times, trying to make sure you're seeing correctly. The person looks like a nurse, she's got all the proper attire, but there's just something off about her. Like her skin color, for example. Which happened to be Green. You stare at her and she stares at you for a few moments. Then you manage to stutter out, "Ummmm.... What's with the green skin...?" But instead of answering, the person opens up her mouth wide and then even wider. Wider than an human being's jaw should open. And inside are rows and rows of tiny razor teeth! "What in the world are you!?!?" You shout as you leap up from the table and back up as far as you can, against a wall. But the creature edges closer and closer, teeth bared and drool sloppng over the sides of her gaping mouth and onto the table. Obviously it doesn't want tea and pleasant conversation... So you've got to defend yourself from her! You quickly look around for a weapon....
