Fan Fic: Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?

Cambodia's most popular event is the Water Festival, an annual national holiday celebrating Cambodia's rivers. The Water Festival's primary attractions are its boat races. Crews of up to eighty oarsmen (representing regional teams) paddle gigantic boats of up to a hundred feet long in races over a kilometer in distance. The millions also gather at the river banks all over Cambodia over the three-day period to give thanks to the rivers for providing the Cambodian people with fertile land and abundant fish, enjoy live music and dance, view fireworks, and watch illuminated and brightly decorated floats parade down the rivers, in a water-based Mardi Gras of sorts.

You track down a few people hanging out in the neighborhood and ask them if they have seen anyone who fits the description of Carmen Sandiego.

"I have not seen her," the cockfighter says.

"Sorry, the person you are looking for isn't here," answers the historical reenactor.

The oil magnate replies, "I do not recognize this person."
