Time Traveller
The man next to you is polishing his sword. and the man next to him in line whispers to him.
"Why are you bothering? It's going to be covered in blood soon isn't it?"
You feel a bit sick, but suddenly, the army starts to move, charging at the attacking army. The two forces hit with a resounding crash, and you suddenly find yourself fighting with the rest of them. The man who was next to you in the ranks screams and pitches forward, and you come to your senses.
Rushing headlong through the ranks, you reach the hill and rush up, and into the forest. You stop for a few seconds to catch your breath, and then climb into your machine.
