Time Traveller
You stop a nearby villager.
"Excuse me, please, could we borrow a horse?"
"A horse? Not to people who talk funny like you!"
You pull out your mobile phone angrily and make it ring while advancing towards the villager. The man backs away, his eyes wide in terror.
"Yes, yes, I have a horse!!! There is one in the blacksmiths!"
You turn off the phone and head for the blacksmiths being watched warily by all the peasents. You climb upon the horse, to the surprise of the blacksmith, and ride away into the forest.
You follow the directions of the woman until the sky is dark and you are exhausted. Eventually, you come into a village and are greeted by cheers by the people.
"Go and get some sleep, my friend," the woman says, laying a hand on your shoulder. "The battle begins tomorrow."
She thumps a hand to her chest in a salute and then you lose her in the crowd. You head to the nearest building, and are welcomed by the people, and given a bed. You find it strange that they know who you are, but you are too exhausted to think about it too much.
