Pandemic
You quickly pick it up, making sure to avoid suspicion. "Paris, France," you quietly read. "6:00. Friday, December 17. Gate 17."
You look at your watch. That was 5 minutes from now. You run through the lobby, pushing past the people in your way. Up ahead, you see the gate. However, the woman is starting to close off the passageway. "Um, miss," you say. "I have a ticket to board this plane."
She stares at it for a moment. "So you do," she says. "You better hurry. They are about to leave."
You nod and run down the tunnel that leads to the plane. However, as soon as you exit the passageway, you see the airplane beginning to move slowly. Suddenly, you notice that the door is still opening. You dash for it and jump just as the plane lifts off the ground. You barely make it and are left dangling from the entranceway. You cry for help and are immediately greeted by one of the flight attendants, who pulls you on board. "Thanks!" you cry.
"Don't mention it," she replies and walks away.
