The Island of Destiny
You are sitting in a dark room. You feel dizzy and in a very dazed state of thinking. This sort of feeling only comes in deep dreams and you find that your dream is more in control of your reality than you are right now. There's nothing you can do about it.
You glance around the dark room and apart from a few small fixtures of light, the room is completely pitch black. You feel up against the wall with your hand and find that it is a cold, stone wall. Where are you?
You gaze ahead in silence for a while until you notice a figure approaching you. To your amazement, it is a pretty dark-haired, dark-skinned girl with a candle near her face. She looks at you with big, soft eyes and you almost feel a little more relaxed.
She speaks softly "You must find me. I know you've uncovered my note in the sand. Now you MUST find me."
"Wh-" you try to speak but you find that your voice is too soft to be heard.
"Hmm," she purses. "Tomorrow, you will need to try and find me in the jungle. If you succeed, you could be off this island sooner than you think. That is all."
With that, she vanishes in the blink of an eye. You sit there startled, in the dark room by yourself, for an indefinite amount of time. You are then surprised by an enormous burst of light that shoots through the room and causes you to awaken.
You sit upright in your bed of leaves and look around at the empty beach. The sky is still dark, but you can tell that in a few hours it will be morning. The ocean lies before you, waves rolling into shore like always. You vividly remember your dream and you now have a choice set before you.
