The Island of Destiny
You take a deep breath and stretch out your muscles. Then you grab the rope and begin the slow and laborious task of pulling up the mysterious blonde girl in the cage. You can hardly wait to get some answers about this place.
After a few minutes of hard work, you are relieved as the cage finally topples over onto the surface of the cliff and you can let go of the rope. The girl is awake now and gazing at you with curious anticipation. She then opens her mouth to speak and when she does, you are surprised at how shaky and raspy her voice sounds.
"Thank you for helping me," she begins. "My name is Marya and I have been stuck in the cage for two days without food or water."
"What kind of person would do that to you?" you ask her.
She shakes her head back at you and gently pushes open the door to her cage and steps out.
"I will be glad to explain it all," she tells you. "But please, my throat hurts so bad. Will you follow me into the jungle so I can find a stream?"
